Ari Salmi, chairman of the board and principal owner of Logistikas, was awarded the Friski myättst award of 2019 by the newspaper Länsi-Suomi for the work done for the Rauma region. The award was presented close to Finnish Independence Day at the Rauma Trade Club premises.
Länsi-Suomi writes in the article that Rauma region can be grateful for Ari Salmi's determination and perseverance for the start of the Lakari area, which led to HK Scan coming to Rauma. A pathfinder was needed, and that's what Salmi offered Logistikas to be. Logistikas has now been operating in Lakari for four years, currently employing 50 people there.
